Reporter Dave McMenamin reported that sources revealed that the South Bay Lakers plan to sign former Eagles guard Kobe Bufkin.
Bafkin is the No. 15 pick in the 2023 draft, coming from the University of Michigan. He was previously traded from the Hawks to the Nets and entered the G League player pool after being waived last month.
Bafkin played 10 games for the Hawks last season, averaging 5.3 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.
