Bild: Neuer is absent from Bayern training, the club hopes he can catch up with the weekend game

German media "Bild" reported that Bayern started preparations for their next Bundesliga home game against Freiburg through a public training session.

All 627 visitors noticed: After the international break, most of the international players such as Kane, Olise, Upamecano, Jackson and Luis Dias returned to the field. But four stars, Neuer, Kimmich, Gnabry and Kim Min-jae, were absent.

For Kimmich, Gnabry and Kimmich, it is entirely possible that they can return against Freiburg if necessary, so whether to let them play or let them rest for a while ultimately depends on Kompany's decision. For Kimmich, this situation is especially likely to happen, because he had to bite the bullet and finish the game with a bandage on his body during the World Cup preliminaries between Germany and Slovakia.
