Grimaldo: I had considered leaving Leverkusen this summer, but finally decided to stay for at least another year

Leverkusen left-back Grimaldo admitted that he had considered a transfer and leaving this summer.
Grimaldo said: "I did consider transfers this summer, but in the end I decided to stay. It was the right decision. I felt the love and support from the fans and the club in Leverkusen, and I felt that I was valued. Staying for at least another year is great for me, so I will enjoy the season and go all out."
Grimaldo, 30, is a Spanish player, has made it clear that he hopes to return to Spain to play football one day in the future.
