La Liga officially releases the winter ball for the 25/26 season, inspired by motor sports

This new ball features an aerodynamic design with 12 sealed panels and a 3D textured surface to ensure optimal performance and contrast in low-light conditions. La Liga and Puma have jointly launched a winter match ball for the 2025/26 season, specially designed for games in low visibility and adverse weather conditions, aiming to keep the pace and quality of the game uncompromised.

This new ball features an eye-catching yellow as the main color, with bright orange and black accents, giving it excellent visual contrast on the grass, allowing players and spectators to clearly see every game action, even in the most challenging environments.

In addition to functionality, the ball introduces a unique graphic design inspired by the values ​​shared by football and motorsport: high performance, precision, power, speed and acceleration. Its most striking feature is a textured graphic that is reminiscent of a conceptual reinterpretation of a car’s front grille, giving the sphere an aesthetic of energy, dynamics and extreme performance.

From a technical perspective, the ball adopts an advanced 12 large-size seamless sealing panel structure to ensure a more stable flight trajectory and uniform rebound, even under the most demanding conditions.

The 1.2mm thick 3D textured PU surface enhances ball control, contact accuracy and durability, making it a high-performance tool for extreme months. The yellow match ball will be used in upcoming matches, bringing a new visual rhythm to the game. The new match balls will be available from this weekend.
