Paris Saint-Germain President Nasser was interviewed by Canal+ after the Champions League draw. As the defending champion, Paris Saint-Germain will face Barcelona in the group stage. The Qatari leader praised the Champions League as "the most beautiful game in the world" and called on the team to welcome the new season with humility and hard work.
Nasser: "This is the best game in the world, and all the best clubs compete here. It's always very difficult, but we have to deal with it one game after another."
Meet Barcelona again, did Luis Enrique send you a message?
"No, we have not communicated yet. It's a good game, it's a game that everyone is looking forward to, it's going to be a wonderful game, a showdown between two great clubs, and we have a lot of respect for them. We are also a great club."
As the defending champion, what impact does this have on you?
"You know, things were over last season, and we are now focusing on the new season. Of course, this gives us confidence, but without hard work, confidence is nothing. We need to work hard and think about it one game after another. That's the most important thing. Although we won the championship last season, now we have forgotten last season and just think about this season."
