Rabiot is dissatisfied with overseas games? Serie A CEO: This is the money he earns and the employer’s wishes should be respected

In an interview, Serie A CEO DeSilvo responded to Rabiot's dissatisfaction with Milan's overseas games, saying bluntly that he should not complain about overseas games in Australia.

Rabiot said that overseas games are not decided by the players and did not ask for their opinions.

DeSilvo: He is right, but he forgot that, like all players, he took millions of euros to do only one thing: play football. Therefore, he should respect his income and comply with the wishes of his employer, which is AC Milan, who strongly promoted the hosting of this overseas event.

DeSilvo: Player health is a key issue, but it is not impossible, especially since this is a special event.

DeSilvo: For many years, the NFL and NBA have been holding games outside the United States, hoping to become a global event and attract fans from around the world. Although UEFA does not support it, it accepts the special nature of this event.

We believe that if football does not go out to promote its own brand appropriately, it may lose its advantage in competition with other sports. I hope fans understand that these small sacrifices can pay huge dividends in the medium to long term.

DeSilvo: Over the years, the Tour de France, the Giro d’Italia and the Vuelta a España have all started in other countries. These races last for 21 days, three of which will be held in another country. The purpose is to promote their brands and increase their visibility.
