World Sports: Barcelona board of directors urgently discusses the progress of Camp Nou and financial audit of 100 million VIP seats

World Sports reported that the Barcelona board of directors held its last meeting before its trip to Asia to discuss a number of important issues.

The most notable of these is the progress of renovation of the Camp Nou Stadium, which is working hard to open a new stadium in the league against Valencia on September 13 or 14 as the city refused to issue a permit for the Gambel Cup match on August 10.

In addition, the club has prepared an alternative plan to return to the Olympic Stadium of Louis Komanis. Barcelona is expected to make a final decision to install turf in Montphic by mid-August, and the Champions League group stage must be held at the same venue under UEFA regulations.

At the same time, the board is still awaiting the final report of Crowe Audit Company for fiscal 2024-25, which is crucial to the restoration of the rules of financial equity in La Liga and helps register new players in the summer transfer window. The report is expected to be completed in early August. Barcelona hopes the audit report will fully include a VIP seat rental transaction worth 100 million euros, involving Fortia Advisor Limited (30%) and New Era Visionary Group (70%), which has paid 28 million euros, with the remaining 42 million euros to be paid between September 2025 and early 2026.
