Are you really cheated? Ballmer once donated 1.87 million yuan to the founder of Company A who has been identified as a fraud

In March this year, Sanberg, one of the founders of Aspiration, was arrested on suspicion of fraud.

It is understood that in October 2024, Ballmer talked about a charity run by himself and his wife in a public interview, and said that he would review his donations item by item. Torre looked at the details of donations from the charity that Ballmer personally operated, ranging from $500,000 to $400 million. But one of the donations caught his attention—a $1.87 million donation to another charity: the Golden State Opportunity Foundation, which will be donated in December 2024. The founder of the Golden State Opportunity Foundation is Sanberg, one of the founders of Aspiration.

In other words, Ballmer is still paying money to a charity owned by one of the founders after the Clippers publicly stated that he had terminated a contract with Aspiration, which was investigated for more than a year and was defined as a fraud company. Moreover, the amount of this donation is close to the amount of salary Aspiration needs to pay Leonard every month (1.75 million).
