Mavericks' reporter Ashish Mathur of Dallas Basketball Magazine wrote about Doncic's current position in the Lakers.
He wrote: "A source revealed that 'Doncic hopes LeBron will retire with the Lakers.' Doncic has repeatedly stated that LeBron is the most watched player he grew up. The source also said that the former Dallas Mavericks superstar was happy in his fight with LeBron last season and believed that the Lakers are capable of competing for the championship next season."
