Today, Lakers coach Redick was interviewed after training.
Talking about Paul's retirement after the season and his achievements, Redick said: "It depends on what people decide. I will not deliberately shape a narrative. I just understand him as a person, as a teammate, and as a brother."
"The evolution of our relationship. It's been really interesting, going from almost hating him for over a decade to now feeling like he's part of my family, and watching him evolve as a player, as a competitor, as a leader in the later stages, especially after I retired, was actually very interesting for me."
