According to previous reports, David Mitchell intends to sign a full guarantee contract with the Heat for 2 years and $24 million.
Heat reporter Anthony Chiang commented on this: This means that the Heat will either give up Duncan Robinson or sign a contract with him to return next season, while the team's total salary does not exceed the threshold of luxury tax.
In the 2024-25 season, Duncan Robinson played 74 regular season games for the Heat, averaging 11 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game, and a three-point shooting percentage of 39.3%. His contract has the last year left, worth $19.89 million.
