Buffon s ex-wife: Some players once pursued me now have become fans and often watch Juventus games

Former Czech supermodel and Buffon's ex-wife, Alena Seredova, revealed in an interview that some players have pursued her, and also talked about her relationship with football.

When did you start to become passionate about football?

When I first arrived in Italy, many people asked me which team I support. Since I knew nothing about football, I initially chose Lazio because my fellow countryman Nedved played there. But not long after, he transferred to Juventus, so I also started to follow Juventus. Over time, I became a real fan and often went to watch the Zebras team games on site.

How many players have pursued you?

To be honest, there are indeed several people. But especially in the first few years, I made some real friends in the football world. Some of these friendships are still very strong today.

What is the best football memory shared with Buffon?

The 2006 Italian World Cup victory was a wonderful adventure. I went through that time with my friend Valentina (Zanbrotta’s wife) and we traveled half of Germany together.

In the stands, is it Buffon's era that makes you more distressed, or is it more painful to watch your son Luis Thomas (who made his Serie A debut in Pizza on Sunday) now?

You will always feel tormented. Of course, your son is a son after all, and your feelings will be stronger. As for his debut, I regret the outcome of the game, but at our home we were all tremendously excited. We are very proud of "Lollo" (the nickname of Louis Thomas).

The ex-husband is a player and now his son is also a player. Are you happy about this or do you think it is better to avoid it?

I am glad my kids can follow their hearts to do everything. The two oldest sons grew up in the world of football, and they were a bit like they used to be: always putting a ball under your feet, even on a plane... Luis Thomas played in Pisa, David Lee played in a club in Turin, a Juventus-related club. They are all forwards, and they often train with their mom as they grow up.

Training with your mother?

When they were young, they always wanted to play football. In order to keep up with them, I decided to go to private football class. The coach was Claudia, and she was also training one of my sons during that time. I want to surprise them and learn to play the ball better than them. I must admit that this is not my exercise and I quickly got it.

Luis Thomas' father is the world champion and a symbol of Italy, but he chose to play for the Czech Republic, his mother's national team. Does this mean anything special to you?

I did not affect him, but I do not deny that I am very happy to see him wearing my country's jersey. He is happy about this experience in football and life, and so do I.

For your little daughter, do you dream that she can embark on the same career path as you?

She looks more like a sports-loving kid, like her dad. She swims, runs, and likes to immerse herself in nature. And, although she is still small, we are told that she runs well and is very fast.

Do you still maintain some friendship in the football circle?

Yes. Along the way, I made many friends and shared many times with them, including some important moments.
