Recently, Garvey was interviewed by "The World" and he made it clear that he hoped to stay in Barcelona. At the same time, he specifically mentioned Luis Enrique and talked about Paris Saint-Germain's interest in him.
Garvey said: "For me, Luis Enrique is the best coach. Both him and his team are top-notch. I'm so happy for him, it was him who made me debut in the national team and I will never forget that day. He had the courage to send me on the field, even though everyone was criticizing him. I'm so happy for him, he deserves it all."
News about Paris Saint-Germain's interest in him came out again, and some people thought that since he didn't play much at Barcelona, Garvey might seek a transfer to get more opportunities. Garvey's answer to this is: "I know my thoughts very well, and people sometimes believe what they see in the media."
"I believe Paris Saint-Germain is interested in me, yes, that may be true. I understand why people believe this, but this doesn't happen, I'm very calm."
"My dream and mindset are to spend my entire career in Barcelona, this is my team of life and where I want to succeed. I don't want to go anywhere else, I will do everything I can to achieve this."
