Local media: Sommer needs an annual salary of 8 million, Galatasaray pays up to 3 million annual salary + 2 million transfer fee

According to Türkiye's "Fever", Inter Milan goalkeeper Sommer became the priority target for Galatasaray's signings.

The media revealed that after the introduction of Chelsea's Petrovic and Lyon's Peli were blocked, Sommer has been promoted to the top of the Galatasaray goalkeeper's roster. But Turkey reports show that Sommer proposed to ask for an annual salary of 7 million to 8 million euros.

Galatasaray has no intention of matching Sommer for such a premium. Sommer's current contract with Inter Milan expires next summer, and Galatasaray is willing to accept a salary cap of only 2.5 million to 3 million euros. In addition, Galatasaray is only willing to pay 1 million to 2 million euros for the 35-year-old goalkeeper's transfer fee quotation.
