Telegraph: Paratic reached a settlement agreement on Juventus financial case and continued to serve as Tottenham Hotspur adviser

Fabio Paratic continued to serve as a consultant to Tottenham after receiving the probation sentence, the Telegraph reported. Paratic accepted an 18-month probation sentence after reaching a settlement with Italian prosecutors on Juventus' "capital appreciation" case.

Nevertheless, he continued to serve as a consultant to Tottenham Hotspur. According to the Telegraph, Paratic's contract with Tottenham has not changed and he will continue to hold the same position at the club. Previously, Paratic resigned as Tottenham football director due to being banned from engaging in football-related jobs. The ban expired in July this year.

Paratic was sanctioned for alleged accounting violations in Juventus transfers. His role in the case is allegedly to fail to correctly record the capital appreciation brought about by player transfers, resulting in a decrease in reported losses. However, Paratic has always insisted that he always follows the rules and that he is not a member of the Juventus board of directors and is not responsible for the club's accounting.

Sources close to Paratic said the probation sentence was accepted to resolve the case as soon as possible, allowing him to focus on his football career and get rid of the impact of the Juventus case. Although former chairman Daniel Levi has left Tottenham, Paratic has maintained a good working relationship with Tottenham CEO Vinay Venkatsham and technical director John Lange, so his future employment will not be affected.
