TA reported that Tottenham has submitted its first offer to Leipzig for Xavi Simmons. The initial amount of this offer is €60 million, and if all bonus terms are met, the total amount may increase to €70 million. Leipzig is considering the offer, but the two sides have not reached an agreement yet. Leipzig is eager to resolve the situation, but they insist that if their asking price is not met, Simmons will not leave the team and will reintegrate into the team as soon as possible.
Simmons can be sold this summer, although he only joined from Paris Saint-Germain in January this year for a permanent transfer of €50 million. In July, Bayern asked Simmons for a price after he expressed his willingness to leave Leipzig.
Last season, Xavi Simmons made 33 appearances for Leipzig, contributing 11 goals and eight assists, although he missed 15 games due to left ankle ligament surgery.
