Recently, Durant talked about the NFL on the "Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams" program.
When asked who Joe Flacco is equivalent to in the NBA, Durant said: "Horford, he has won championships, he can still play, he can still start. Basically everyone in the league respects Horford, he is a good veteran, he has played for many teams, so I would say Horford."
Flacco is a 40-year-old veteran in the NFL who won the 47th Super Bowl MVP. His career is centered on the brilliant achievements of the Baltimore Ravens. In April 2025, he returned to the Cleveland Browns with a $4 million contract. In October 2025, the Cincinnati Bengals traded for Flacco to fill the injury vacancy of main quarterback Joe Burrow.
