Perkins teases the Clippers: I went to the nursing home to see my 90-year-old grandmother and found that Batum & Paul is also there

NBA commentator Perkins today gave a humorous comment on the Clippers' aging lineup.

Perkins teased: "I went to visit my 90-year-old grandmother a few weeks ago and saw Batum (36) and Chris Paul (40) in the nursing home. Those old guys..."

"They are the oldest team in the NBA, right? The early stages of the season are when they are working hard. Given Leonard and James Harden, they have to make a difference in the tough Western Conference. They don't have a lot of rest and don't have time to get players injured and recover," Perkins added.

"A game may miss the playoffs, or it may cause you to fall out of the top six and have to play in the playoffs. I think this team needs to find a little rest at the end of the season, when they need to stay in the top six," Perkins said. The average age of the Clippers reached 33.2 years, making them the oldest team in league history as they enter the new season.
