According to ESPN reporter Shams Charania, Marcus Smart reached a buyout agreement with the Washington Wizards, planning to sign a two-year, $11 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers after passing a clarification period. The 2022 NBA Defensive Player of the Year will return to the big stage.
