Recently, "Newsweek" listed the Lakers as one of the three ideal ending points for Timberwolves center Naz Reed:
"Los Angeles (Lakes) may indeed sign Reed, and the possibility of reaching an intention is extremely high. But if the Lakers finally choose Reed, the transaction is likely to be signed first and then exchange."
According to previous reports from the US reporter Jake Fischer, many people in the league expect Reed to refuse to execute the $15 million player option next season this summer and become a free agent.
Reed played 80 regular season games this season, averaging 27.5 minutes per game, scoring 14.2 points, 6 rebounds and 2.3 assists, shooting percentage of 46.2% and three-point shooting percentage of 37.9%; he played in 15 playoff games, averaging 24.9 minutes per game, scoring 10.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists, shooting percentage of 50.9% and three-point shooting percentage of 39.7%.
