Plan B! Turkish media: Galatasaray and Sommer reach an oral agreement to provide him with a two-year contract

Turkish media fotomac reported that Galatasaray and Sommer have reached an oral agreement on a two-year contract.

Galatasaray needs to introduce a new goalkeeper this summer. They have been trying to sign Manchester City's Ederson, but the transfer has been blocked. Fotomac said Galatasaray has prepared Plan B, that is Inter goalkeeper Sommer.

Sommer, 36, is a Swiss goalkeeper. He joined Inter Milan in 2023 and has been the main goalkeeper since then. However, Sommer's contract with Inter Milan only expires one year, and Inter Milan is willing to release him this summer. Fotomac revealed that Galatasaray has reached an oral agreement with Sommer on a two-year contract. If Ederson is not allowed to be introduced, Galatasaray will sign Sommer.
