The Times reported that Angel Gomez rejected Tottenham and West Ham and added his free agent to Marseille.
Angel Gomez is ready to reject invitations from several English clubs and choose to sign with Marseille to continue its development in France. After the contract with Lille expired, the English midfielder decided to stay in Ligue 1 instead of returning to the Premier League.
Gomez, 24, started his career at Manchester United and had previously received interest from West Ham and Tottenham, but he eventually chose to sign a three-year contract with Marseille, coached by Dezelby.
While England interim coach Lee Casley was coached, Gomez was selected for the national team with his outstanding ball-handling and organizational skills and completed four appearances, showing his unique traits. But since Tuchel officially became the head coach of England, he has gradually faded out of the national team due to his lack of playing time in Lille. Last season, Gomez played in the league for only 737 minutes.
