Flag talks about working with Owen AD Clay: Feeling lucky to imagine a sponge to learn from them

In the 2025 NBA Draft, the Mavericks selected Cooper Flag with the No. 1 pick.
Frager then gave an interview and talked about his feelings about his upcoming collaboration with Irving, AD, and Clay.
"I'm lucky to have such an opportunity, not many No. 1 picks can have such opportunities. Being able to play with high-level players like AD, Kerry, and Clay. I want to be a sponge, and I want to learn from them as much as possible.
"I think AD is a great role model, and his outstanding performance on both ends of the offense and defense and his impact on victory will be an excellent role model for me. ”
