Jaylen Brown revealed in the Big Tigger Morning Show that he had rejected the $50 million sneaker endorsement provided by Nike.

He said: "When you sign these contracts, there will be various terms. For example, if you say anything controversial or do anything that disrupts the company's ecology, they can terminate your contract. This is equivalent to giving you no chance to speak."

"So many celebrities and athletes, they dare not speak at all, and dare not express any opinions, because once they say it, it may affect the terms of the contract. I don't want to compromise my voice for anyone or anything, so I just tell them directly, I won't sign it."

He also mentioned that there is a conflict between himself and Nike. He said that Nike's sneakers are good and he needs to wear them, but he doesn't want to advertise them, so he smeared their logo and didn't want to help them advertise for in vain. Later, Brown founded his own brand "741" and also launched sneakers and related clothing.
